Armenia and Belgium to regulate diplomats financing issues

Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts presented on Wednesday for ratification of the National Assembly an agreement with Belgium on financing representatives of diplomatic missions.
YEREVAN, September 11. /ARKA/. Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts presented on Wednesday for ratification of the National Assembly an agreement with Belgium on financing representatives of diplomatic missions.
He said under the agreement beneficiaries do not enjoy diplomatic immunity and privileges during the period of paid work. He said Armenia has similar agreements with the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Argentina, Germany and France.
According to him, the agreement was signed on December 4, 2018 in Brussels. Adonts said the agreement also extends to diplomats and members of their families representing Armenia in NATO and the European Union headquartered in Belgium. --0--
