Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini signed a document on the implementation of priorities within the Armenia-EU Partnership Agreement.

YEREVAN, February 21. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini signed a document on the implementation of priorities within the Armenia-EU Partnership Agreement.

The press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry said the document was signed today in Brussels, where Nalbandian had a meeting with Mogherini. The interlocutors were said to have expressing satisfaction with the high-level periodic contacts between Armenia and the EU. They also discussed the implementation of a number of provisions of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement after it was ratified by Armenia.

Nalbandian and Mogherini discussed then Armenia’s participation in various EU programs, in particular, COSME and Horizon 2020, as well as a set of issues related to the negotiations on the Single Airspace Agreement. 

The sides expressed satisfaction with Armenia's joining the "Creative Europe" program. Nalbandian and Mogherini exchanged also views on a set of international and regional issues. Nalbandian also spoke about the OSCE Minsk Group’s activity aimed at the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict. -0-
