Armenia and Turkmenistan to cooperate in air connection

Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan signed Thursday an Armenian-Turkmen intergovernmental agreement on air connection cooperation in Yerevan.

YEREVAN, November 29. /ARKA/. Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan signed Thursday an Armenian-Turkmen intergovernmental agreement on air connection cooperation in Yerevan.
“We think such document at least opens new perspectives for business contacts development and for communication between the citizens, for tourism development and student exchange,” President Sargsyan said at the joint press conference.
The heads of the both states met Thursday. The joint statement was signed following the meeting. The presidents also signed an agreement on locating the Armenian and Turkmen embassies in the capitals of the both states.
A number of some other agreements related to scientific, technical, agricultural and seismic security cooperation were signed. -0-
