Armenia appoints new ambassador to Mexico

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has appointed Armella Shakaryan as the country's ambassador to Mexico.
YEREVAN, January 28. /ARKA/. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has appointed Armella Shakaryan as the country's ambassador to Mexico. The appointment decree is published on the website of the head of state.
The position was previously held by Ara Aivazian, who served also as Armenian's ambassador to Costa Rica, Cuba, Honduras, Guatemala and Panama. Aivazian was relieved of the post on October 14 to take over as Armenia's foreign minister, replacing Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. -0-
