Armenia’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned today the double terrorist attacks in Baghdad on June 3.

YEREVAN, July 4. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned today the double terrorist attacks in Baghdad on June 3.

"We strongly condemn the terrible terror attacks in Baghdad. We express our support for the Iraqi people in their efforts to eradicate terrorism in all its manifestations,’ the Armenian foreign ministry’s official page in Facebook says.

The death toll from the bombings rose to about 200, according to the latest reports from Iraq. Another 196 were wounded. 

The bombings early Sunday was claimed by the Islamic State group. One attack occurred when a suicide bomber detonated his car bomb at a crowded thoroughfare in Karada District, southern central Baghdad. Shortly after another explosion ripped through the capital when a booby-trapped car went off at Shallal market. -0-
