Armenia does not intend to return its occupied territories by military means - Pashinyan
YEREVAN, September 18 /ARKA/. Armenia recognizes the territorial integrity of all countries in the region and has no territorial claims against any of them, stated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"Yes, about 200 square kilometers of our territories are occupied (by Azerbaijan). But I want to note that the Armenian Government does not set the task of returning the territories by military means," said Pashinyan at the Second World Armenian Summit in Yerevan.
He noted that the recently signed regulations on the activities of the Armenian and Azerbaijani commissions for delimitation of the borders make it possible to resolve these issues.
According to the Armenian side, as a result of armed aggression by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces - in May, November 2021 and September 2022, about 200 square kilometers of the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia remain under occupation.
