In a speech President Sargsyan described the khachkar as a vivid token of Armenian nation’s historical and cultural heritage.
‘It is an honor and privilege for us that it will be erected in the heart of Strasbourg, under the protection of human rights and democracy, in order to signify our unswerving dedication to those values,’ he was quoted as saying by his press office.
