Armenia, EU to expand defense cooperation

YEREVAN, 29 May. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with General Robert Brieger, the Chairman of the European Union Military Committee, on the sidelines of the Schuman Security and Defense Forum in Brussels, the Defense Ministry of Armenia reported on Wednesday.

The two discussed regional security and defense cooperation between the EU and Armenia and pledged to extend cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Papikyan also presented a review of reforms that are being introduced in Armenian Armed Forces.-0-
