YEREVAN, March 24. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone call with Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani on Wednesday, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

It said the two men discussed a set of issues related to development of Armenian-Georgian relations and strengthening political dialogue through mutual visits.

During the call, Mirzoyan informed his Georgian counterpart about Azerbaijan's actions to exert psychological pressure on the population of Nagorno-Karabakh and to prevent the normal functioning of the vital infrastructures in the harsh winter conditions, as a result of which Artsakh is on the verge of a humanitarian crisis.

Mirzoyan touched upon the Armenian side's position in connection with the start of talks on the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stressing the mediating role of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in this context. Views were also exchanged on regional and international security issues. -0-
