Armenia has no armed forces in Nagorno-Karabakh- Pashinyan
YEREVAN, July 6. /ARKA/ The Republic of Armenia has no armed forces on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Thursday.
"Unfounded accusations against Armenia by Azerbaijan do not stop. In particular, Azerbaijan continues to demand the withdrawal of Armenian units from Nagorno-Karabakh, despite the fact that Armenia has no servicemen in Nagorno-Karabakh," the Prime Minister stressed at the government session.
According to him, only the Defense Army of Nagorno-Karabakh is operating there. The only reason of its operation are the daily Azerbaijani belligerent rhetoric, threats and actions, the hidden essence of which is the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Earlier, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev accused Armenia of having its armed forces on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh and demanded their withdrawal. -0-
