Armenia, Iran decide to expand cooperation

Armenian Vice-Premier Mher Grigoryan and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani decided to expand cooperation in particular areas as they met Wednesday in Tehran, the press office of the Armenian government reports.

YEREVAN, July 4. /ARKA/. Armenian Vice-Premier Mher Grigoryan and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani decided to expand cooperation in particular areas as they met Wednesday in Tehran, the press office of the Armenian government reports.
Thanking Rouhani for a warm reception, Grigoryan said that relations between Armenia and Iran are based on historically friendly relations and mutual trust. He expressed hope that these relations will be expanded by joint efforts.
The parties also discussed room for creation a free trade zone between Iran and the Eurasian Economic
Union. They exchanged ideas of cooperation in the energy sector.
Mher Grigoryan is now in the Iranian capital to attend a session of the Armenian-Iranian Intergovernmental Committee. -0---
