Armenia-Panama parliament friendship group may be created

Armenia’s foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan suggested setting up a parliament friendship group at his meeting with head of external relations committee of Panama’s parliament Dalia Bernal Wednesday, the press office of Armenia’s foreign ministry reported.

YEREVAN, January 9. /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan suggested setting up a parliament friendship group at his meeting with head of external relations committee of Panama’s parliament Dalia Bernal Wednesday, the press office of Armenia’s foreign ministry reported.
Bernal welcomed the suggestion and stressed the friendship group will help develop both inter-parliamentary and inter-state ties between Armenia and Panama.
Bernal briefed Nalbandyan on the activities of the committee and on the efforts of Panama’s parliament to develop relations with other countries.
The meeting was attended by Panama’s deputy foreign minister Mayra Aroseman.
Nalbandyan described the efforts of Armenia and the global community in Karabakh peace process at the meeting.
Armenia’s foreign minister is in Panama as part of his Latin American tour. He has already visited Peru and will head to Cuba later. –0--
