Armenia proposes Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting in UK, Azerbaijan declines

YEREVAN, July 18. /ARKA/. Armenia proposed a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev at the upcoming European Political Community Summit in the United Kingdom, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ani Badalyan reported on Thursday.

The proposal was declined by Azerbaijan. "The Armenian side's proposal remains valid," Badalyan stated.

Badalyan added that Armenia reaffirms its readiness to intensify high-level negotiations and aims to reach a peace agreement within a month.
