Armenia ready to make efforts for deepening friendly relations with China

On the occasion of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China, Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian president, visited Saturday the embassy of China in Armenia on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of creation of the People’s Republic of China.
YEREVAN, October 3. /ARKA/. On the occasion of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China, Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian president, visited Saturday the embassy of China in Armenia on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of creation of the People’s Republic of China.
Sargsyan congratulated Tien Erlong, the Chinese ambassador to Armenia, the staff of the embassy and the people of China on their holiday.
On the occasion of the holiday, President Sargsyan sent also a congratulatory message to the President of China Xi Jinping.
“I note with great satisfaction that the friendly relations between Armenia and China recently have registered a steady progress,” Sargsyan is quoted by his press office as saying in his message. “We are witnessing how step by step the agreements reached at our meeting during my 2015 state visit to China are being implemented while the subsequent numerous high-level reciprocal visits are giving a new impetus to the further deepening of our relations.”
In his congratulatory message, Sargsyan also expressed readiness to work together with the Chinese authorities for deepening and strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
“I wish Your Excellency great health and success, as well as happiness and prosperity to the friendly people of China,” he said. --0---
