Armenia’s medical-social expertise agency head removed from office

Armenia’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan ordered Wednesday to remove a chief of Medical-Social Expertise Agency Mikael Vanyan from his office.

YEREVAN, October 3. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan ordered Wednesday to remove a chief of Medical-Social Expertise Agency Mikael Vanyan from his office.
Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia informs Vanyan was removed on his own request.
Earlier, during the meeting convened by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Head of Control Service of Armenia’s Prime Minister Sargis Grigoryan reported on a number of infringements revealed in the system of ascribing a category of disability to individuals, coming from corruption. Following the meeting, Prime Minister instructed Labor Minister to make staff changes in this sphere.
“Head of the service, which has been facing corruption, who has never reported on such issues, must be removed from his office,” Sargsyan said. -0-
