The new Cabinet of Armenia will be confirmed till June 15, the incumbent Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said on Saturday.

YEREVAN, June 4. /ARKA/. The new Cabinet of Armenia will be confirmed till June 15, the incumbent Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said on Saturday.
Tigran Sargsyan was re-elected unanimously as a Prime Minister of Armenia by the Executive Body and the Council of the Republican Party of Armenia on Saturday.
He told the journalists he had expected his appointment.
Sargsyan also clarified that the new program of the government will be based on the campaign program of the Republican Party.
“The program of the government will face a number of changes: the changes we have promised to our voters are included into the program,” he said.

According to the Constitution of Armenia, the President of the country approves the government’s resignation on the day of the newly elected National Assembly’s first session. Bearing in mind the number of mandates in the National Assembly and consulting with the deputy factions the head of state may appoint as a new Prime Minister an individual, who is trusted by majority of the deputies.
The President appoints a new Prime Minister within ten days after approving the government’s resignation. The new government is formed within twenty days after the appointment of a new Prime Minister.—0—
