Armenia pursues a policy of maximum expansion of relations with the European Union, Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan said on Wednesday.

YEREVAN, October 18. /ARKA/. Armenia pursues a policy of maximum expansion of relations with the European Union, Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan said on Wednesday.
"Armenia-EU relations have always been aimed at ensuring reforms, as well as human rights and various kinds of transformations," Hovhannisyan said during a press briefing in the National Assembly.
According to him, the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which is actually a light version of the Association Agreement with the European Union, is also aimed at this.
"The EU remains the most important partner for Armenia," the deputy minister emphasized. -0-
