Armenia has signed a contract to acquire CAESAR self-propelled howitzers from France, French Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced on Monday
YEREVAN, June 18. /ARKA/. Armenia has signed a contract to acquire CAESAR self-propelled howitzers from France, French Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced on Monday.
“France continues to strengthen defense cooperation with Armenia. [I had] a warm and productive talk with my Armenian counterpart Suren Papikyan at the Eurosatory [defense showcase],” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
CAESAR is French 155mm, 52-caliber self-propelled howitzer that uses NATO-standard shells, manufactured by Nexter Systems.
