YEREVAN, August 11. /ARKA/. Armenian and Georgian Prime Ministers Nikol Pashinyan and Irakli Kobakhidze agreed that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan opens up new opportunities for the entire South Caucasus region.

During a telephone conversation on Monday, Pashinyan presented to his counterpart the results of the talks held in Washington on August 8, in particular, the initialing of the "Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan", a joint appeal to the OSCE to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms, unblocking regional communications within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction of countries and on the basis of reciprocity, as well as the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" project.

Pashinyan thanked Kobakhidze for publicly welcoming the agreements reached in Washington, the press service of the Armenian government reported. The interlocutors also exchanged views on the agenda of bilateral and regional relations.
