YEREVAN, April 9. /ARKA/. Special purpose units of the Armenian and Iranian Armed Forces will hold joint exercises on April 9-10, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.

A unit of the Armenian Armed Forces will conduct the exercises on the territory of Armenia, while a unit of the Iranian Armed Forces - on the territory of Iran.

The exercises involve actions to neutralize an attack by suspected terrorist groups on border checkpoints located on the Armenia-Iran state border. -0-
