YEREVAN, January 16. /ARKA/. A delegation led by the Armenian First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, is participating in a meeting of the NATO Military Committee in Brussels.

The purpose of the meeting, which is being held in the format of Chiefs of Defense Staff from NATO member and partner states, and will last until January 17, is to raise awareness about modern global and regional threats and challenges, as well as to seek collective solutions for mitigating them, according to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

The discussions are focused on issues related to the resilience of critical life-support infrastructure in the face of climate change, widespread instability, new and disruptive technologies, hybrid and cyber threats, and the participation of partner states in NATO-led operations and missions.
