Armenian Defense Ministry once again denied Azerbaijan's report of shelling their positions in the southeast

YEREVAN, April 11. /ARKA/. The statement by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry claiming that on April 10 at around 20:55, units of the Armenian Armed Forces allegedly opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located in the southeastern section of the border is not true, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.
The ministry recalled that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia had proposed the creation of a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations and/or related reports. However, Azerbaijan has yet to respond to this proposal.
“The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia confirms that, in line with the position of the Office of the Prime Minister, it is prepared to investigate any facts supporting the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s claims, should they be submitted to the Armenian side,” the statement said.
