Armenian defense ministry refutes third Azerbaijani disinformation in 24 hours

YEREVAN, April 10. /ARKA/. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's third disinformation report of the day.
"The statement by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, alleging that on April 9 at around 23:50 units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located in the northeastern section of the border, does not correspond to reality," the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
The ministry recalled that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia had proposed the establishment of a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate cases of ceasefire violations and/or related reports. However, Azerbaijan has yet to respond to this proposal.
The Armenian Defense Ministry reaffirmed its readiness—aligned with the position of the Prime Minister's Office—to investigate any incidents if the Azerbaijani side provides evidence supporting its claims.
