Armenia's withdrawal from the CSTO is not being discussed; it is not on the Foreign Ministry's agenda, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan told reporters on Wednesday.
YEREVAN, November 26. /ARКА/. Armenia's withdrawal from the CSTO is not being discussed; it is not on the Foreign Ministry's agenda, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan told reporters on Wednesday.
"If such developments occur, you will know. The format of our relations with the CSTO has already been announced. Yerevan does not participate in the organization's decision-making and document-making, but it does not interfere with them either," Safaryan said.
According to him, this is Armenia's policy at this stage.
"Armenia conducts its foreign policy based on its interests and the current situation, based on the stated principle of diversification and balancing," Mnatsakanyan said.
It was previously announced that Armenia will not participate in the CSTO leaders' summit, which is taking place in Bishkek on November 26-27.
