YEREVAN, December 15. /ARKA/. The Oxford Alumni Business Club in Armenia, together with Armenian graduates of leading global universities, has created a platform aimed at uniting Armenian professionals educated outside of Armenia and forming an influential, trustworthy, and collaborative community. The initiative aims to consolidate Armenia's educational potential, strengthen professional ties, and implement knowledge-based initiatives for the country's further development.
The launch event will take place on December 25, bringing together the founders, members, and guests of the community under one roof for the first time.
Ameriabank is the initiative's main partner. Ingo Armenia CJSC and Boyden Armenia have also joined as partners.
The event will present the initiative's core values and goals, upcoming programs, as well as educational, cultural, and charitable events.
Nearly 50 alumni from 12 leading global universities have already confirmed their participation in the upcoming event. The list of universities includes Oxford, Stanford, Harvard, Cambridge, Imperial College London, the University of Chicago, Columbia University, the University of Edinburgh, and the University of Manchester, as well as INSEAD and London Business School. Armenian professionals educated at leading global universities are welcome to participate in the event. Registration is available here.
The community's founders emphasize their goal to become a reliable bridge between Armenia and Armenian professionals living and working around the world, focusing on sharing relevant global knowledge and experience, developing professional and social collaboration, and fostering a culture of mentorship and leadership.
Graduates of master's and doctoral programs, as well as international MBA, MPA, EMBA, and other management programs from leading universities around the world, are welcome to join the initiative.
The platform's key activities include:
- Building a professional community and networking. Armenian specialists from various fields and generations will meet on a single platform, establish connections, and create opportunities for collaboration.
- Exchange of experience and knowledge. Discussions, thematic meetings, and master classes will be organized, during which participants will share their experiences, learn about career opportunities, and discover new ideas.
- Mentoring and professional support. This will facilitate the growth of beginners and mid-level specialists, facilitate the transfer of experience, and build trusting relationships.
- Regular knowledge-sharing events. Discussions will be organized on global trends, innovative solutions, and Armenia's strategic priorities. Events will be led by both community members and invited experts.
In parallel with professional activities, the community's ideological foundation will include important charitable projects to promote the development of educational, cultural, and social spheres.
The launch of these charitable initiatives will be announced during the community's grand opening. It should be noted that a portion of the donations made by members and guests of the emerging community will be used to support programs implemented by the Music for the Future Foundation and the Armenian charity SOS Children's Villages.
