Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that "since 1994, that is, after the ceasefire, the negotiation process had been focused on the return of Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan."
YEREVAN, December 23. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that "since 1994, that is, after the ceasefire, the negotiation process had been focused on the return of Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan."
"The negotiation process had no other content. Discussions on other issues were introduced in the Republic of Armenia solely for domestic political purposes," he wrote on social media.
"In this context, I made a big mistake. In 2018, when I was reviewing the content of the negotiations, I failed to acknowledge this to myself (my patriotism, as you know, did not allow me to do so) and, therefore, I did not explain all of this to the people," Pashinyan noted.
