YEREVAN, October 2. /ARКА/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met in Copenhagen on the sidelines of the 7th European Political Community Summit.

According to the Armenian government's press service, the parties emphasized the importance of the agreements reached at the Washington Peace Summit, initiated by US President Donald Trump. They reaffirmed their readiness to continue working to further strengthen peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Pashinyan and Aliyev noted the advantages of transport links in the region, discussed infrastructure development in Azerbaijan and the implementation of the TRIPP project in Armenia, and exchanged views on the implementation of the Washington Declaration. In this context, the interlocutors welcomed the unanimous decision to suspend the OSCE Minsk Process and all related structures.

They also emphasized the need to further implement confidence-building measures and agreed to continue contacts.-0-
