The defense ministries of Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) have refuted Azerbaijani defense ministry's statements alleging that Armenian troops fired at its military positions along the border with Armenia and along the line of contact in Artsakh.

YEREVAN, September 12. /ARKA/. The defense ministries of Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) have refuted Azerbaijani defense ministry's statements alleging that Armenian troops fired at its military positions along the border with Armenia and along the line of contact in Artsakh.

"The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has again spread disinformation. Armenian military units did not open fire in the direction of Azerbaijani positions located in the Armenian-Azerbaijani border zone on September 11 evening," the Armenian Defense Ministry said.

It added that the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is under the full control of the Armenian Armed Forces.

Artsakh Ministry of Defense issued a similar statement. "The report circulated by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry alleging that the Defense Army's unit shelled Azerbaijani positions on September 11 in the northwest direction of Artsakh is not true," it said. -0-
