YEREVAN, December 17. /ARKA/. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, speaking Wednesday at a joint briefing with his Greek counterpart Panagiotis Kammenos, accused Turkey of supporting Islamic State.
“Problems with neighbors trouble all of us,” Ohanyan is quoted by Novosti-Armenia. “Today the attention of the whole international community is focused on our region. And there is a state in our region that supports Islamic State. This is Turkey.”
Ohanyan stressed that Armenia strongly condemns Ankara’s conduct, especially given that this affects the interests of Russia, Armenia’s strategic partner. ---0---
