Armenian defense minister off to Moscow

Alexandra Cole has been appointed as new British ambassador to Armenia, replacing John Gallagher, according to the British government's website.

French President Emmanuel Macron, at a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Paris on Monday, emphasized his commitment to developing and deepening multilateral cooperation with Armenia.

Armenia is looking at reopening of regional infrastructure only in terms of its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction, and can not really talk about any other logic, Nazeli Baghdasaeryan, the press secretary of  Prime Minister Pashinyan, said in response to a request from the Armenpress news agency to comment on statements made by the US ambassador to Turkey, who, as noted in the agency's request, “spoke about the possibility of the US leasing a section of the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, through which, according to the ambassador, the ‘Zangezur corridor’ could be implemented.”

Tashir Group President Samvel Karapetyan announced the beginning of the formation of his own political team to combat the anti-people policies of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has left for Brussels on a working visit on July 14.
