Armenian defense minister off to Moscow on official visit
YEREVAN, August 10. /ARKA/. Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan has left today on a working visit for Moscow. According to the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry, the visit is being held at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoigu.
A meeting of the heads of the Armenian and Russian Defense Ministries is planned in Moscow, as well as a number of other working meetings.
The day before, during a conversation with CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas, who arrived in Yerevan on a working visit, Karapetyan, speaking about the incursion of the Azerbaijani armed forces into the territory of Armenia in May said: "We will resolutely defend our territories ... Our patience is not unlimited: in the absence of a peaceful settlement of the situation, we reserve the right to resolve the issue by force. -0-
