Armenian deputy defense minister submits his resignation

Gabriel Balayan, Armenia’s deputy defense minister, has submitted his resignation, Tert.am reports.

YEREVAN, November 24. /ARKA/. Gabriel Balayan, Armenia’s deputy defense minister, has submitted his resignation, Tert.am reports.
"During my work, my colleagues and I have done everything possible to carry out reforms in the areas of defense entrusted to me, fixing irreversible institutional achievements. I also note with regret the omissions, as a result of which, on November 20, I asked the Prime Minister to dismiss me from my post," Balayan said.
Balayan was appointed to this position on May 29, 2018.
On November 20, the President of Armenia dismissed Davit Tonoyan as defense minister. -0-
