Armenian Deputy PM, Chinese ambassador discuss regional projects
YEREVAN, July 9. /ARKA/. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Chinese Ambassador Fan Yong discussed Armenia's involvement in major regional projects, the Deputy Prime Minister's office reported on Tuesday.
The meeting emphasized the need to deepen Armenia-China cooperation in the field of education. The parties reviewed the main directions of Armenian-Chinese cooperation, emphasized the increase in trade turnover, and exchanged views on the prospects for developing relations in areas of mutual interest.
Both the Deputy Prime Minister and the Ambassador highlighted the importance of strengthening contacts between the Armenian and Chinese people to enhance bilateral state relations.
The meeting took place in connection with Fan Yong's conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Armenia. Grigoryan thanked the Ambassador for his contribution to the development of Armenian-Chinese relations. In return, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister for the warm and constructive relations established during his tenure.
