Armenian Deputy Prime Minister held the first session of the CEPA roadmap working group
YEREVAN, 8 November. /ARKA/. The first meeting of the working group of the interagency commission coordinating the implementation of Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was held on Friday.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and attended by representatives of executive and legislative authorities.
The updating of CEPA roadmap and related issues were discussed,, the government press service reported.
Armenia-EU co-operation
The Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Armenia and the EU entered into force on 1 March 2021.
The EU-Armenia visa liberalisation dialogue was officially launched in September 2024 and a new comprehensive document called ‘New Partnership Agenda’ is currently being developed.
The Interagency working group is responsible for developing the government's action plan on visa liberalisation between Armenia and the EU. -0-
