Armenia’s acting finance minister Vardan Aramyan has tendered his resignation today.

YEREVAN, May 10. /ARKA/. Armenia’s acting finance minister Vardan Aramyan has tendered his resignation today.
"I resign as finance minister and hope that the new government will continue the search for productive solutions for the welfare and economic stability of our country", Aramyan wrote in Facebook.
After a month of non-violent anti-government protests across the country Armenia's parliament on May 8 elected opposition leader Nikol Pashinyan to become the country's next prime minister. Lawmakers elected Pashinyan by a 59-42 vote after a leader of the ruling Republican Party, Vahram Baghdasarian, announced his party would give Pashinyan 11 votes, which helped put him over the top. --0
