Armenian Foreign Minister and European Commission Vice President discussed deepening of cooperation

YEREVAN, October 2 /ARKA/. On the sidelines of the Warsaw Security Forum, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan discussed deepening of cooperation with the EU with Executive Vice President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency Věra Jourová.
The achievements registered in the recent period as a result of close cooperation, as well as the positive dynamics of discussions on the development of a new agenda for the Armenia-EU partnership were noted, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
Mirzoyan and Jourová touched upon the progress of ambitious reforms implemented by Armenia to protect human rights and the rule of law, strengthen democratic institutions, as well as cooperation with the EU.
Within the framework of the EU research and innovation program Horizon Europe and the Creative Europe program, the importance of continuing active cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture was also noted. -0-
