YEREVAN, July 3. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan will leave for Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on July 4 on a working visit, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan said at a press briefing on Wednesday.
According to her, Mnatsakanyan is scheduled to meet with President Bako Sahakyan, Speaker of the Parliament Ashot Ghulyan and Foreign Minister Masis Mailyan. He will also participate in a number of events.
"This is a usual process that takes place before or after a meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers. Our goal is to make Artsakh more involved in the negotiation process, however, it doesn’t replace the question of Artsakh’s direct participation in the negotiation process," Naghdalyan said. She said the results of the Washington meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, held on June 10, will also be presented.
The Armenian Foreign Minister will also travel to Slovakia to take part in the meeting of the OSCE foreign ministers on July 9. There he is scheduled to have a series of meetings with his peers. On July 10, Mnatsakanyan will take part in the XVI forum in Batumi, Georgia, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership program, where he will make a report. --0--
