Azerbaijan has resorted to escalation of tension amid criticism of its conduct from the international community, Tigran Balayan, spokesman of Armenia’s foreign ministry, says on his Twitter page.
YEREVAN, April 2. /ARKA/. Azerbaijan has resorted to escalation of tension amid criticism of its conduct from the international community, Tigran Balayan, spokesman of Armenia’s foreign ministry, says on his Twitter page.
Azerbaijani troops undertook massive offensives on south-eastern and north-eastern sections of the Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line Friday night with using artillery, armored vehicles and air forces.
Now fierce battles are under way along the full extent of the contact line.
Karabakh troops shot down an Azerbaijani military helicopter.
