YEREVAN, October 10. /ARKA/. The Armenian government appointed Wednesday three provincial governors.
It appointed Gnel Sanosyan as Gegharkunik province governor, Trdat Sargsyan as Vayots Dzor governor and Andrey Ghukasyan as Lori governor.
These positions remained vacant after three parties’ lawmakers, in a bid to retain their seats in the National Assembly, passed a bill on October 2 that hinders dismissal of the parliament.
Armenian Prime Minster Nikol Pashinyan then called on people to come to the area outside the parliament building.
At that rally, the premier informed people about the dismissal of ministers from Prosperous Armenia and Dashnaktsutiun parties. Later, he also dismissed these parties’ provincial governors. -0----
