Armenian government releases 13.5 billion drams in assistance to Artsakh
YEREVAN, October 28. /ARKA/. The Armenian government approved today the release of more 13.5 billion drams to the government of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in November, 2021. Part of the money will be provided as an interstate loan and the other part as a donation.
Armenian Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan said that this is the fifth such release of monthly assistance to Artsakh.
He said out of these 13.575 billion drams, some 3.2 billion drams will be paid to residents of Artsakh as salaries, 1.2 billion drams as pensions, 350 million drams as child benefits, 245 million drams as subsidies to communities and 1.346 billion drams will be used to pay Artsakh residents’ utility bills.
Khachatryan specified that this amount consists of 2 parts: an interstate loan (about 12 billion drams) and gratuitous funds (1.3 billion drams) ($1 - 477.31 drams). -0-
