The Armenian government proposed today the National Assembly to convene a special session on July 2 for ratification an Armenian-Russian intergovernmental agreement for receiving a state export loan from Russia.

«I want to say that this agreement applies only to military technical cooperation,» David Harutyunyan, the head of the government's administration is quoted in the government's press release as saying.
Maksim Sokolov, the Russian co-chair of the Russian-Armenian intergovernmental commission, said Friday after meeting with Serzh sargsyan, the Armenian president, that his country will lend $200 million to Armenia for purchase of up-to-date armament. ---0----
