The government of Armenia approved today a set of amendments to the law on state administration bodies, whereby the Director of Armenia's National Security Service and his/her deputies will be appointed and dismissed by the Prime Minister.

YEREVAN, November 30. /ARKA/. The government of Armenia approved today a set of amendments to the law on state administration bodies, whereby the Director of Armenia's National Security Service and his/her deputies will be appointed and dismissed by the Prime Minister.

Currently the Director of the Service is appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic at the proposal of the Prime Minister.

The bill is deemed urgent and is sent to the National Assembly of Armenia for consideration and approval. --0—
