YEREVAN, August 14. /ARKA/. Mane Tandilyan, a parliament member of the opposition Bright Armenia party, who served also as Minister of Social Affairs and Labor in 2018-2019, said today she was resigning as a lawmaker due to health problems.

“I have had health problems for a long time, which I have tried to solve in parallel with my work. However, it became clear that they are no longer compatible with parliamentary and political activity. Thus, let me inform you that I have to resign as a deputy, and also as a member of the board of the Bright Armenia party,' she wrote in a Facebook post.

Tandilyan thanked her party fellows for cooperation, wishing them new successes for the benefit of Armenia. She also thanked all those people, who trusted her making her able to engage in political activity and asked for forgiveness from those whom she might have disappointed.

"This is my last statement on this topic, and please note that there will be no other comments for the media," she said.

Tandilyan also told her Facebook friends that in ten days her social media page would be deactivated. -0-
