YEREVAN, April 26. /ARKA/. ‘Armenia without Nikol (Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan), Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) - yes, Armenia-yes. We will be organizing various protests, marches and demonstrations in Yerevan until we achieve our goal – to topple Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan,’ deputy parliament speaker Ishkhan Saghatelyan from the opposition Hayastan alliance, told several hundred of supporters after the end of a demonstration in Yerevan late on Monday evening.

Saghatelyan said the opposition will work to make people all over Armenia to rise up against the administration of Pashinyan in the next five days. He said the opposition has planned a large rally in downtown Yerevan on May 1.

"This is a holy war for Artsakh and our statehood. Our struggle is for preventing sweeping concessions to Azerbaijan planned by Pashinyan,’ he argued.

"We will hold protests, disobedience and marches in Yerevan every day. From May 1 we will move on to more concrete and decisive actions. We have a detailed program to overthrow the authorities," said Saghatelyan.

In the meantime, Artur Vanetsyan, the leader of another opposition Pativ Unem parliamentary alliance, and his supporters marched through the city center to attract public attention to their goal- to make Pashinyan step down and thwart his plan to surrender Artsakh to Azerbaijan.

Speaking in the parliament on April 13, Pashinyan said the international community is pressing Armenia to lower the bar on the question of Nagorno-Karabakh’s status.-0-
