Armenian National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan has denied the rumors going around that he seeks the prime-ministerial seat.

YEREVAN, October 2. /ARKA/. Armenian National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan has denied the rumors going around that he seeks the prime-ministerial seat.
According to some media reports, Abrahamyan wants to become the prime minister after the 2013 presidential election.
Now Tigran Sargsyan, who is supported by President Serzh Sargsyan, is Armenian premier.
Abrahamyan was elected as speaker on September 29, 2008. Before the 2012 parliamentary elections he voluntarily resigned and
spearheaded the election campaign of the Republican Party of Armenia.
After the elections he resumed running the National Assembly. -0-
