Armenian PM praises UNDP activities in Armenia

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian received today UNDP’s acting resident representative in Armenia, Patrice Coeur-Bizot, praising UNDP’s activities in Armenia, the press service of the government told ARKA.
YEREVAN, November 16. / ARKA /. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian received today UNDP’s acting resident representative in Armenia, Patrice Coeur-Bizot, praising UNDP’s activities in Armenia, the press service of the government told ARKA.

"We are glad to cooperate with UNDP in implementation of important programs. We appreciate UNDP’s programs and consider them quite successful," he was quoted as saying.

Patrice Coeur-Bizot was quoted as saying that the UNDP will continue its programs in Armenia.

He noted that Armenia has made fairly good economic progress and praised the government's steps to improve the business environment. The two men noted that Armenia has been actively involved in various UN-sponsored activities since 1992. -0-
