YEREVAN, December 20. /ARKA/. Several activists of protests held against Armenia’s ratification of gas agreements with Russia near the parliament house Friday were brought to the police, Novosti-Armenia reported.
Today Armenian parliament started discussing Armenia-Russia agreements about duty-free supplies of natural gas, oil products and raw diamonds, as well as about gas pricing and transfer of 20% of ArmRosgasprom’s shares to the Russian side.
Several dozens of activities were rallying near the parliament house and attempted to block the traffic on Baghramyan Avenue chanting “Sovereign Armenia”. The police barred protesters’ way to the roadway. –0--
