Armenian police unveil preliminary voter lists
YEREVAN, November 19. /ARKA/. Armenian Police have published today the preliminary lists of voters for December 9 snap parliamentary elections. The lists are available on the official website of the Police. The lists have also been provided to the territorial election centers and should be posted in accessible places.

The Police asked voters to report inaccuracies in the lists, if they find any, to local offices of passports and visas. The Police also provided a telephone number -011 37 02 36 - for reporting inaccuracies on any working day from 9:00 to 18:00.

Armenia’ acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan resigned October 16 to clear way for the dissolution of the parliament and holding early parliamentary elections.  Under the Armenian Constitution, early elections are held if lawmakers fail twice within 14 days to appoint a prime minister.

Pashinyan was elected as PM by the country's National Assembly after former president turned-prime minister Serzh Sargsyan resigned on April 23 under immense public pressure provided by weeks of nationwide protest against Sargsyan and his Republican Party. -0-
