Armenia’s premier Hovik Abrahamyan is paying an official visit to Czech Republic on June 1-3, invited by his counterpart Bohuslav Sobotka, the press office of the Armenian government reported.

YEREVAN, June 1. /ARKA/. Armenia’s premier Hovik Abrahamyan is paying an official visit to Czech Republic on June 1-3, invited by his counterpart Bohuslav Sobotka, the press office of the Armenian government reported.

The premiers are to have a tete-a-tete meeting in Prague and will then hold an extended meeting, followed by the signing of documents on bilateral cooperation and a joint press conference, according to the report.

Abrahamyan and Sobotka will attend the opening of an Armenian-Czech business forum.

As part of his official visit, the Armenian premier will meet also with the head of the Senate of Czech Republic Milan Štěch, Speaker of the House Yan Hamachek, Archbishop of Prague Cardinal Dominique Duka.

Abrahamyan is expected to have meetings with the Armenian community in Czech Republic.

Armenia’s premier will also visit Lidice Memorial to pay tribute to millions of children murdered in WWII and will attend the opening of “The Interrupted Childhood – Children-victims of the Armenian Genocide” exhibition together with the minister of culture of the Czech Republic Daniel Herman. –0—
