Armenian premier invites his Georgian counterpart to Yerevan

Tigran Sargsyan, Armenian prime minister, has sent a message to Bidzina Ivanishvili, the new prime minister of Georgia, congratulating him on taking office, the Armenian government’s press office reported today.
YEREVAN, October 25. /ARKA/. Tigran Sargsyan, Armenian prime minister, has sent a message to Bidzina Ivanishvili, the new prime minister of Georgia, congratulating him on taking office, the Armenian government’s press office reported today.
Georgia’s parliament approved Thursday a new Cabinet headed by Bidzina Ivanishvili, whose Georgian Dream coalition won the October 1 parliamentary elections.
“On behalf of the government of Armenia and myself I congratulate you in connection of taking office of the prime minister of Georgia,” he said in his message. “I wish you success and many achievements in your responsible mission.”
The Armenian premier also expressed confidence that by joint efforts they will give a new push to Armenia-Georgia cooperation.
“Taking this opportunity, I would like to invite you to make an official visit to Armenia at any convenient time,” Sargsyan said. -0---
